Areas we currently work in are Stornoway, Point, Tong to Tolsta, North Lochs (Grimshader, Ranish, Crossbost, Leurbost, Cameron Terrace, Keose, Laxay and Balallan) and from Achmore to Carloway and round to Barvas.
We clean the outside of windows and the frames, using purified and deionised water (leaving windows streak and spot free) and water-fed poles which extend so that we can clean up to 3 floors in height, from the ground. We can do a one-off or a regular clean every 4 or 8 weeks.
Benefits to the water-fed pole are that it eliminates the need for ladders which reduces health and safety hazards; as it is a lightweight aluminium pole, many areas that are normally difficult to access can be reached and cleaned; privacy is maintained as the operator is on the ground floor.
Prices start at £15 including vat. – average £18 to £20.
The price depends on how long it takes us to clean them, which depends on how many windows there are, how dirty the windows and frames are and what condition the frames are in.
